Special Guest Speaker

Pastor Johnny Hunt

Woodstock has been my home now since 1986. These have been some of the most exciting days that I have experienced as a pastor. Not only has our community changed... we have seen literally hundreds upon hundreds of individual lives changed at First Baptist Woodstock. The Lord has blessed us with wonderful facilities and a common goal to tell as many people as possible about Jesus Christ and the new life that can be experienced through knowing Him. We want to serve you as part of our community. Our desire is to let you know that you are always welcome at First Baptist Church and that you have an open invitation to worship with us at any time. We will make ourselves available to serve you.

In Christ,

Dr. Johnny M. Hunt

Monsters On A Mission

The roots of this ministry started in 2003 to keep kids off drugs, but God had a higher purpose to keep souls out of hell. With a burden for souls, both of those who know Jesus Christ personally and those who don't. Being faced with 2 statistics:

1) 50% of churches have an average of one person per year join their congregation through salvation.
2) 80% of churches believe that the church is for fellowship with other members, not reaching the lost.

Using God's gift to them, Monster Trucks, Joey, Melissa Stathas and family have been following the God's calling for every Christian.

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. - Mark 16:15

Our desire is not only to see souls saved, but to see the focus of the church return to souls instead of many of the world's distractions. We are faced with so many stumbling blocks that deter us from doing what the Lord REALLY wants us to do.

We have been blessed to be able to perform at small churches up to packed auditoriums and witness kids and adult's focus change from the 'Here and Now' to the 'Eternal'. It is truly, AWESOME to see Christ's desire being fulfilled.

Scripture: John 3:16-21

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God sent the Son into the world, not to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him. 18 He who believes in him is not condemned; he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. 19 And this is the judgment, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one who does evil hates the light, and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. 21 But he who does what is true comes to the light, that it may be clearly seen that his deeds have been wrought in God.
